Lizzie Chen

Lizzie Chen has her master’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas, Austin, with a concentration in photojournalism. She specializes in documentary work and implementing multimedia into modern storytelling and is a freelance photographer. A native of Austin, Texas, Chen has worked as a photo editor for and multimedia and picture intern for KUT News, Austin’s NPR member station. Her work in News21 focused on how voter identification laws could potentially disenfranchise Latinos and minority voters.
